Singaporean citizens are granted a 15-day visa-free entry for tourism, business, or transit purposes when traveling to specific regions in China. The following areas are included in this policy:
Shanghai （上海）
Singaporean citizens can enter Shanghai via Pudong International Airport (浦东国际机场) or Hongqiao International Airport (虹桥国际机场) and stay visa-free for up to 15 days.
Jiangsu Province (江苏省)
This includes cities like Nanjing (南京), Suzhou (苏州), and Wuxi (无锡). Singaporean citizens can enter through specific ports of entry and stay visa-free for up to 15 days.
Zhejiang Province (浙江省)
This includes cities like Hangzhou (杭州) and Ningbo (宁波). The same 15-day visa-free policy applies.
Other Regions
Some other cities and regions in China also offer similar visa-free entry arrangements for Singaporean citizens, but the specific policies may vary.
Conditions for Visa-Free Entry
To be eligible for the 15-day visa-free entry, Singaporean citizens must meet the following conditions:
- Purpose of Visit: The visit must be for tourism, business, or transit purposes.
- Entry Ports: Entry must be through designated ports of entry (e.g., airports or seaports) that participate in the visa-free program.
- Documentation: Travelers must hold a valid Singaporean passport and provide proof of onward travel (e.g., return ticket).
Extended Visa-Free Entry (72 Hours or 144 Hours)
In addition to the 15-day visa-free policy, Singaporean citizens can also benefit from the 72-hour or 144-hour visa-free transit policy in certain cities. This policy allows travelers to stay for up to 72 or 144 hours if they are transiting through China to another destination. Some of the cities offering this policy include:
- Beijing (北京)
- Shanghai (上海)
- Guangzhou (广州)
- Chengdu (成都)
- Xi’an (西安)
- and others

- Purpose of Visit: If your purpose of visit is beyond tourism, business, or transit (e.g., work, study, or journalism), you may need to apply for a specific type of visa.
- Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended to have travel insurance, especially for medical emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.

- Previous Visa copy: If traveler has previous travel history on countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, USA, UK and so on, need those clear VISA scanned copy.
- Flight and hotel reservations booking with dates clearly stated (DO NOT purchase until visa approval)

No. At Present our online application system only supports applications made in English.

Yes. You can save your online visa application wherever you see the "Save & Exit" icon. To login again and complete your application, you will require your unique "Visa Application Id". This number will have been sent to the email address that you supplied in your application security details.
Throughout the online form we have added "More Info" icons to some questions that might require further guidance.
If you didn't submit your application finally you can do the change. After submitting the application you can't change it.
All date fields in our forms are set up in the following format: dd/mm/yyyy (for example 21/08/2011).
Yes. But please check first that your inbox has not treated our email confirmation as SPAM and that you have given us the correct email address. If you have not received your confirmation email after 24 hours please contact us through Complain and Feedback link.
