“Haba” is a term in the Naxi language, meaning “golden flower.” According to Naxi legend, Haba Snow Mountain (哈巴雪山) and Yulong Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山) are brothers, with the Jinsha River (金沙江) flowing between them.
